- He goes visits Ayame for the first time, introducing Yulia and their back story
- At the end of summer, renovations are ready and they move in the estate, once they are alone things start to be strained;
- The twins have responsibilities, there’s no one to clean after them ( like Masaki) and they also need to start tutoring;
- They make their expensive tutor quit and this makes Tatsu have a nervous breakdown where he loses his shit and scares the hell out of them;
- They behave from there on, afraid not to be sent back to Romania;
- Next Xmas, Tatsumi brings Ayame home for the first time;
- Aine is super jealous of her, hating how she’s not the only girl in Tatsu’s life;
- Tatsumi deals with this by telling Aine how special she is to him and how proud she would make him if she acted like a big sister;
- In spring they start school, they are bullied at school but never tell Tatsu until he’s called to school for them getting in a fight;
- He sits them around the kitchen table and asks what happened, they finally tell him and how they were afraid he would send them back if they got him mad;
- This is the moment when he tells them they’re Hadas and that would never change, no matter what. There would be repercussions when they fuck up, but they will still always have a place by his side;
- Time skip, twins are in highschool super popular, they’re 17, Zane is really close with his baby sis Ayame, he takes her everywhere;
- Zane is soul of the party but Aine prefers to stay home with ‘daddy’ as she is very interesting in politics and following in his steps academically;
- Aine, coming from earlier from school she sees Tatsumi with a lady friend in a very explicit situation. She heard the woman saying “yes sir” that sends shivers down Aine’s spine.
- Of course that’s just an excuse for her to be home alone with him, because sexual tension between them has started raising to insane levels, she flirts and drives him insane;
- Tatsumi is invited to Marius; wedding with Simona and he decides to take the twins with him beacuse it would be a good oportunity for the kids to recconet with their home country.
- When he sees Simona after so many years the woman still acts like she is completely submissive to him. Even says “yes Sir”
- That night Tatsumi and Aine are alone, she asks hima bout that. They get very flirty they end up snu snu.
- They have a 6 months secret relationship until Aine finishes highschool;
- When that happens, Tatsu talks to her alone, he informs her he got her admitted to an US university and she is leaving in a week
- She has a horrible breakdown, they fight, he tells her ca what they have is temporary, ca its pointless to ruin his plans and perhaps her future as well for physical attraction
- After her first semester, right before her first vacation, he calls her and she cries on the phone, tells him she misses him and she wants to see him, she shows weakness and vulnerability. His reply is that he will cancel her plane tickets, she’s not ready to come home yet;
- Summer vacation comes and this time she refuses to come home, Zane flies to see her instead. He discovers she lives a ridiculously luxurious life there and spends a shit load of money. Tells her she’s selifsh, that Tatsumi works hard for the money they have, she replies that it’s most he could do for fucking poping her cherry then throwing her away like used socks;
- Zane comes back home, messed up by the revelation to confort Tatsumi. Tatsu takes out the whiskey, pours them two glasses and tells Zane he is not going to find excuses, he will talk to him man to man and explain exactly what happened and why he had to end it that way;
- Rather than messing up their relationship, Zane trusts the man even more after this and their relationship evolves as adults rather than kid – guardian kind of relationship;
- Aine returns when she is 24.
- Her single focus is making Tatsumi’s life living hell and showing him what he missed on;
- She insist on working as an intern under him, joins him at all events and lives with him and Ayame;
- They start fucking again realatively fast but its dark, tense and filled with her pushing all his buttons;
- This escalates until one night while returning from an event in another city, Aine goes wild and mad after a fight and drives their car into a wall;
- Aine does not pass out but Tatsumi is unconcius for a few minutes. She gets really scared but they both walk out of this without anybody knowing.
- They both walk out of it pe picioare, Tatsu considerably more ruffled than Aine, its 3 am they re alone on the highway, they hug super tight and she cries;
- They keep the accident a secret but Tastu starts having health issues: headaches, nausea, memory loss. She panicks terribly tries to convince him to get himself checked;
- Everyone else just dimissess this as him working too much;
- Eventually he collapses and they end at the hospital where they do all sorts of investigations and discover a very dangerous brain aneurysm;
- It’s inoperable at the moment but the doctors only solution is to put him into an induced coma to promote the natural shrinking of the aneurysm then operate;
- Aine begs Tastumi to let them do it, eventually he accepts. The twins remain in charge of all his affairs;
- Maya never accepted the twins and with Tatsumi out of the way she moves to try to remove them but it turns Tatsumi has them so well legally protected not even she and Yulia s army of lawyers can touch them;
- With the twins trying to keep the ship floating Ayame is left on her own and Maya and Yulia take advantage to convince her to strengthen the Hada name and further their dinasty for her father by getting married into a powerful family;
- She gets married at 20, the twins are shocked but support her;
- Seeing her in a wedd8ng dress Zane feels strangely possessive and gets drunk at the wedding leaving it half way;
- Tastu’s recovery doesnt go as planned the comma prolonhes from weeks to months and months;
- Aine is an absolute mess but what keeps her going is her single focus to become the woman Tatsu thought she could be, to make him proud when he wakes up;
- When she was 17 and decided she wanted to follow on his footsteps, he was the one who tutored her for her university admission, it was when their relationship evolved in unexpected ways. A 26 year old Aine now looks back at that time, while she visits him in the hospital almost every day and she sees it completely differently now, she understands the complexity of the situation;
- Two years later, it turns out the man Ayame married is an abusive, horrible fucker who also cheats on her. She calls Zane crying not knowing how to deal with anymore and Zane destroys the fucker, takes her and the baby home with him;
- He is determined to take care of her, but their relationship evolves very fast into something else, something he realizes he was feeling for a while, at least from her wedding;
- She worries about him having to raise another man’s baby and he tells her ‘your father took us in and made us who we are today without having any connection to us, what kind of man would I be if I couldn’t raise the child of the woman I love’. This is a bit of a full circle moment.
- When Tatsumi eventually wakes up, the surgery is a success but he has a long recovery ahead of himself. Aine has set up the stage for what his plans were, and everything is ready for him to follow through, but instead, he decides to step back and support her political career instead;
- This was the correct answer all along, while it could have messed up his career to marry the woman he adopted, Aine turns her past and even their relationship into her strength;
- Ends with Aine on television, during an interview for her campaign. The moderator asks her if she doesn’t think it’s morally gray that she married her adoptive father. She replies ‘I did not marry my father, because he was never that to me. I married my mentor, my hero, the man who made me who I am today’.
